Stair Parts Depot ships to the 48 continental states. Shipping charges are non-refundable.
Stair Parts Depot will reimburse shipping fees for any order valued over $2000 prior to shipping the product. Stair Parts Depot will ship out orders on the same business day if received before 12:00 PM during that same business day. Stair Parts Depot’s business hours are Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM (PST). Phone number is (510) 602-0399.
Stair Parts Depot uses UPS Ground as their primary residential package shipping carrier. If the default UPS Ground shipping cost is too expensive, please contact us and we will find a more cost-effective method of transportation. Commercial truck deliveries must be directed through a Stair Parts Depot representative. There is no residential truck delivery.
Orders may be cancelled as long as they have not yet been shipped out, but will be subject to a 3% cancellation fee in cases where packaging material has already been consumed. Please note that this policy only applies to standard items – not to Special Order items. There are no returns or cancellations on Special Orders; once a Special Order process has been set in motion, it cannot be reversed. Commercial truck deliveries for Special Orders must be directed through a Stair Parts Depot representative.
Customers are responsible for freight costs if the order is cancelled during transit.
Returns will only be honored if presented within 30 days from the date of purchase. Custom or nonstandard items (Special Orders) may not be returned. Returns can only be authorized through a Stair Parts Depot representative.
There will be a 15% restock fee for items that need to be returned for credit. This fee consists of the total item cost including shipping and freight fees.
Returns cannot be accepted if the material has been damaged, altered, or in any way rendered unusable or unsuitable for resale. There will be no credit issued in cases where the material is damaged, and the return will be refused.
Ordinary claims for item shortages or damage must be made directly with the shipping company. If it can be demonstrated that the item shortage or damage inflicted was not a result of the shipping company’s mishandling, then Stair Parts Depot will consider honoring reasonable cases of this nature by reimbursing credit. Photo evidence would need to be documented with the shipping company. Claims for shortages or damage need to be made within 2 days of receiving the shipment.
Stair Parts Depot is not responsible for freight delays, damages, or cases of lost items on behalf of the shipping company.
